Welcome to Srinagar, the Lake City. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, being your tour of Kashmir Tour. You will be transferred to the Hotel. Proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankar Acharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat& Shalimar. These gardens were Mughal Emperor's concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots. Visit HazratbalDargah Also. Overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg. The drive
pastcolorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of
Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the world and also called
Meadow of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course (World’s Highest) and is also famous for winter sports like skiing etc. You can enjoy a Gondola ride/ Cable car (at your
own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg.
The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower
ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby
mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir
valley. We descended back to Gulmarg base after an hour. Overnight stay at the hotel
Srinagar.
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds). Which is about 96 kms
from Srinagar, which will be covered in the app. 3 hours. You Can visit the saffron fields
ofpampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King
Awantivarman), Mattan Temple on En-route.
Drive through the pine forests. Arrive at
Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. After You can hire a union car (at your own cost)
visitAru valley, betaab valley and chandanwari. Evening return, dinner and Overnight
stay.
After breakfast at the houseboat/hotel, leave for a day excursion to Sonamarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, you can stop at many beautiful spots. Continue to drive to Sonmarg, located at 2,690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on a horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier by Pony (at your own cost) where snow remains round the year. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.
