Move to Thrissur - Vadakkumnathen Temple Move to Vaddakunnathan temple. It is believed that the first Shiva temple created by Lord Parasurama, popularly known as Vadakkunnathan. It is situated at the heart of Thrissur city. Vadakkunnathan temple is surrounded by a massive stone wall enclosing an area of nearly 8-9 acres. World famous pooram festival is celebrated here.
Vilangankunnu Vilangankunnu is a beautiful Hillock,a popular picnic spot and recreation ,centre. vilangenkunnu gives a panoramic view of the city from the top. a specially designed park with amusement rides to entertain children.
Sakthan Palace Really narrates the histoty of Trichur (Thrissur), it is one of the cultural, architectural and historical important palace of he erstwhile Maharaja of Cochin, now converted into a heritage Museum. 10 am to 5 pm except Tuesday.
